I get so much joy from doing makeup, hair, wardrobe consulting! In a world where women are constantly compared to impossible standards of beauty... where we get beat up, and beat ourselves up over silly things like our weight, our skin color, our outward appearance... it just warms my heart to see a girl's face light up after I've done my work.
And more than the actual brush strokes and mascara-wand-waving I've done... it's in the change of attitude. It's in the way a girl views herself after a tiny bit of primping.
I like to hand them a mirror afterward and just watch them flutter their eyelashes in amazement. It's magic.
Yes, girlie. You are gorgeous. You are one of a kind. And God knew exactly what He was doing when He created you. He was making a masterpiece.
This is beautiful Elizabeth. Who doesn't seem to understand how precious she is.
